The following resources were sent in as comments by readers to my earlier post, "Which are you: Unemployed or New Entrepreneur?" All of them provide terrific resources to help you decide which will you be -- unemployed or a new entrepreneur?

From Anne Giles Clelland, founder of Handshake2.0:
One local source of help for those thinking of starting their own enterprizes in the Business Assistance Center at Radford University.

Stuart Mease, City of Roanoke, Va.  recommends:
Virginia Department of Business Assistance hosts events to assist would be entrepreneurs - go to: www.vastartup.org. Also, it's important to note that you do not have to raise a million dollars to be an entrepreneur. Start small like Cameron Johnson says in his book You Call the Shots. Even if it is a consulting, internet or old economy business. start small and build upon it while you have a platform job.

Jim Flowers, Director, VT KnowledgeWorks writes a blog for entrepreneurs:
The headline of Start with Moxie is "So you want to launch a business..." The entire blog is devoted to people who may be considering entrepreneurship.
