Flying:
"Flying's not much fun anymore" - comment by a friend who, due to back-to-back family emergencies, had to change her free, frequent flyer ticket twice, costing her $150 for each change (she did not change where she was going, just when). Add on the $15 baggage fee (each way), no more free beverages on the plane (not even water), and no movie on a crosscountry flight, she's right.
Driving:
"Gas is cheaper than milk!" - Gas in our area is about $2 a gallon; milk has dropped to about $3 per gallon. Now we can afford to drive to the grocery store to buy milk!

Myspace or connect with former school chums or friends who live in the area. Temps are predicted to be in the 50's during the day and high 20s in the evening.
Camping is probably not an option unless you're an experienced camper.
